Attend the Intimate Aarti at Kedar Ghat

Dashashwamedh Ghat's Ganga Aarti is spectacular but overwhelming. For a more spiritual and less commercialized experience, attend the smaller aarti at Kedar Ghat. It happens around the same time but with a fraction of the crowd. You can sit on the steps right next to the priests. The chanting echoes off the old haveli walls — truly goosebump-inducing.
