Avoid the 2-5 PM Godowlia Gridlock

Godowlia intersection is the heart of the old city but also its biggest bottleneck. Between 2-5 PM, traffic is at its worst and the narrow lanes become nearly impassable. Plan museum visits, silk shopping in air-conditioned showrooms, or a meal during these hours. If you must cross the city, use the ropeway from Cantt or take the ring road auto route.
